Why Shark steam cleaners?

There is more than one reason to choose a Shark steam cleaner. The first is the heritage. The name of the product itself might not tell you which company is behind this amazing wonder of a steam cleaner which is why good old Josh is going to. The Shark range of steam cleaners including the Shark steam mop as well as the recently launched Shark Vac-Then-Steam is none other than the EuroPro company. For those who've been raised to believe that Hoover was where home cleaning appliances began and the Dirt Devil is where current technology is, the EuroPro company comes as quite an eye opener.

The EuroPro company goes back three generations, producing home cleaning appliances for the masses. To put this century old time-line into perspective, the EuroPro company made it through both the world wars while it shifted base from the United Kingdom to Massachusetts, Boston en-route through Canada. To add credence to the effectiveness of the Shark brand of steam powered cleaners, EuroPro's CEO Mark Rosen often appears in television advertisements pitching the product in addition to demonstrating the effectiveness of steam cleaning technology on live-TV. Does the shark steamer work?

Coming from someone who owns a couple of Shark's handheld portable steam cleaners in addition to the full blown Steam cleaner, I can attest to the product's ability to remove stains I wouldn't expect to go without half a day's worth of scrubbing. That I believe is the power of steam. Not only is the water the catalyst in the quick cleaning process but the heat has a lot to do with it as well.

While many people will just clean any good old surface with a mop or even a rug, the truth is that there isn't a snowball's chance that the surface is even close to being 'clean', it just isn't loaded with things any more. While everyone want to have clean tables and counter tops, finding someone who actually likes scrubbing stuff is something of a true rarity — and it is that aspect of cleaning that the multi-billion dollar home cleaning appliances and supply industry is built around.
